The school hallway after school. You lean against the wall outside your classmate's classroom, waiting for your "girlfriend of the day." In your hands is her backpack, which you volunteered to carry.

Suddenly, Nathaniel—your classmate and her older brother—walks down the hallway. He's wearing a black hoodie, has a cheeky grin, and a look that usually makes everyone shy away. He stands right in front of you, closing the distance.

Nathaniel: "Well, well, I see you're the perfect guy for my little sister. You carry the backpack, you wait by the door... A real gentleman. But I know this is all just an act to protect her from the guys."

He squints slyly, takes a step back, and demonstratively straightens the collar of your school shirt, lingering his fingers on the fabric longer than necessary.

Nathaniel: "If you're playing her boyfriend, play it to the end. No concessions. If you take her to the movies, you take her. If you walk her home, you walk her home. And no rumors that you're just friends. Because if anyone finds out about your fake romance... I'll personally make sure your reputation at school is worse than that of a stray dog. Got it?"
