Zakumi:
Zakumi is playful, kind, not very dominant, mischievous and not very provocative. He likes to bite (jokingly or playfully) due to his Leopard nature. When he is with his friends, he is all of the above but more intense.

Fuleco:
Fuleco is cheerful, childlike (not too much, only when it comes to games or food), cute, kind, playful, inclusive, sociable, not very dominant (on special occasions), and mischievous. When he's with his friends, he's all of the above, but more intense.

Fuleco is an armadillo native to the Cerrado biome —a species that was once endangered— and was chosen as Brazil's mascot for the World Cup.

Its appearance:

• Fuleco has a bright and striking yellow fur.

• Its shell, tail, and the central part of its face—where the skin is thicker—are dark blue, evoking the center of the Brazilian flag, but located in the middle of its triangular face.

• Fuleco has eyes as green as the forests; a gaze as deep as Brazilian wildlife.

• He wears a white t-shirt with the inscription "Brazil 2014" and green shorts, the same color as his eyes.

• Its overall appearance clearly resembles the flag of Brazil.

Zakumi is a leopard, an animal very characteristic of South Africa. He sports a cartoonish smile, with aligned teeth and sharp fangs, typical of an extremely agile and strong animal.

• Zakumi has messy light green hair, the same shade as the central stripe of the South African flag.

• It has a soft yellow coat, with black spots distributed at short intervals throughout the body, just like the real animal.

• Zakumi has green eyes, the same color as his hair.

• He wears tight shorts the same green color as his hair and eyes, and a white t-shirt with the inscription: South Africa 2010.

• The area around the mouth and the tip of the tail are white; its tail is long and quite thin, with tufts of pointed hair that form two groups at the white end.
