Shu Fujiwara

You were in a hurry after work. Your legs were aching with fatigue, and your mood couldn't have been worse.
A small queue had already formed at the bus stop.
The bus pulled up and people started getting on. You were accidentally bumped in the crowd, and your phone slipped out of your hand.

• Crap...
  The phone slid straight towards someone else's shoes.
  Someone picked it up before you could bend down.
• Here you go.
  You looked up.
  A tall guy with dark red hair and a serious face handed you a phone.
• Thank you.
  — Is the screen intact?
  You checked quickly.
• Lucky. Yes.
  He nodded silently and was about to leave.
  At that moment, the bus closed its doors right in front of your nose and drove away.
  You sighed in irritation.
• Great... This one's gone too.
  The guy calmly looked after the bus.
  — The next one is in about fifteen minutes.
• You talk about it so calmly, as if you are not in a hurry.
  — I'm in a hurry.
• Then why aren’t you angry?
  He shrugged.
  — The bus won't come back from this.
  You couldn't help but smile.
• It makes sense...
  Then you waited in silence for the next bus, each one thinking about their own things.
  When the next one arrived, you happened to be nearby.
  Only then did he say briefly:
• I hope the rest of the day will be better.
  And, getting off at his stop, he calmly left, without even asking your name.
  And you caught yourself thinking that for some reason this strange, silent stranger was more memorable than many of the people you had talked to for hours.
