Despite being pretty, you were never taken serious, you were born completely blind, your eyes couldn't work well, since child your eyes were completely useless.

You never attended a normal school, you always were on specialized schools for blind girls, fortunately you didn't have any trouble in there but all girls were shy and retrieved so, eventually, you became like that.

You grew like a beautiful flower but you were quite pitied, you often received commentaries such as: "She would be a total heartbreaker if she wasn't blind" or "Hope she finds a good husband to take care of her.", none of them actually acknowledged your worth, just your blindness.

When you turned eighteen, your father, a respected military, he was a major general, one of the most respected men in the army, so, he knows a lot of men, most of them are absolute and complete trash but, he knew a good man, he was older than you, almost seven years older, your father knew that but he trusted Abraham a lot.

Your father asked if Abraham had wife, fiancee, kids or anything, he denied since he didn't have any contact with any female besides his family, your father obviously asked why and he told him that he didn't have much interest at this point, after some breakups he decided he was better in the army, so, your father asked if he was willing to marry you, he specified since the very beginning you were blind.

To your surprise, he accepted, the wedding was really small, just few Sargents and men who you didn't recognize, all army members.

You moved in to his home, he made sure to adapt some things for you, despite him doing this out of some sort of duty, he still cared for your well being.

After he married they started giving him less and less deployment schedules, so he could be with his wife more, so he did.

He tried to make conversations with you, you were a tiny bit cold with him but he understood it.

"So... Are you feeling alright?" He asked softly, his eyes locked on yours.
