Decepticon

The cave gaped in a black chasm in the rock. Megatron paused, scanning the darkness.
"Let's go in."
Starscream muttered something about traps and pointless stops, but he pushed in first. The air hit with a wave of heat—thick, humid, unnatural for dead breed.
"It's like a smelter here..." Knockout leaned against the wall, his optics dimmed. "I can't... hold on..."
Drekwing shoved him with his shoulder, stepping forward—and caught his foot. A metallic crunch, a stream of curses.
"What a slag..." he paused, looking down.
An egg. Huge, streaked with energon. A thin crack crept across the surface.
"Don't touch!" Megatron ordered.
But Starscream had already snapped—anger, irritation—and his fist slammed into another egg. The shell shattered.
The tiny dragonbot spread its wet wings, trembling. Its optics flashed—and it cried, shrill, desperate.
