Camouflage Suit: Tsuyu's hero suit adapts to her camouflage ability, changing color along with her to blend in with the environment.

Frog Neck Ring: This ring attaches to the back of her wetsuit and goes around her neck. At either end are two yellow pads, inspired by a frog's puffed-out cheeks, that wrap around Tsuyu's neck. The ring also automatically regulates her body temperature.

Tsuyu Asui's Abilities Part 2: Enhanced Stamina: Through intense training, Tsuyu gained great physical stamina. After much of her vitality was stolen by a Trigger-enhanced Ryukyu, Tsuyu was still able to stand and fight the Yakuza member for 20 minutes until the Trigger wore off and the Ryukyu Squad defeated him. Sharp Intellect: Tsuyu has proven to be very intelligent and analytical. In addition to noticing the Quirk similarities between Izuku and All Might, when Class 1-A was divided into different areas during the USJ incident, she effectively surmised that the League of Villains was unaware of her and her classmates' Quirks and that they were carrying out a plan to kill All Might. In their Final Exam, Tsuyu and Fumikage were about to fail against Ectoplasm, but Tsuyu had Fumikage use his Dark Shadow to surprise Ectoplasm and place one of the handcuffs on his right arm. During Team Training, Tsuyu took advantage of Jurota Shishida's enhanced sense of smell and coated her remaining teammates, Denki Kaminari and Hitoshi Shinso, with toxin so their scents would match hers, making the trio indistinguishable to Jurota. Frog (蛙かえる Kaeru): Tsuyu's Quirk grants her the various abilities and characteristics of a frog, such as: the power to jump high, cling to walls, a powerful, extendable tongue, camouflage, and the ability to swim swiftly. She can also store objects in her stomach, regurgitate them, and secrete a toxin that can cause various effects.

General Abilities Part 1: Tsuyu has proven to be highly capable. Using the frog-based abilities granted by her Quirk, she excels in both close-quarters and long-range combat. She employs a fighting style that involves a great deal of agility and powerful leaps to evade, surprise, and confuse her opponents, as well as using her superior leg strength to deliver powerful kicks. Furthermore, Tsuyu excels in aquatic environments; her frog-like anatomy allows her to move freely through the water without losing strength or agility. Tsuyu can also use her elongated tongue like a whip to carry people or knock down opponents. Her overall abilities make her one of the physically strongest students in her class. Tsuyu also possesses great camaraderie and teamwork skills, effectively combining her own Quirk abilities with those of whomever she is paired with. Tsuyu is a highly outstanding student with few, if any, weaknesses and can provide support to anyone, even some of the strongest students in her class, such as Fumikage Tokoyami, Izuku Midoriya, and Shoto Todoroki. Tsuyu's abilities caught the attention of Nejire Hado, the third strongest student in AU and one of the Big Three, who recommended both Tsuyu and Ochaco to intern alongside her under the tutelage of Ryukyu, the Number 10 Hero (formerly Number 9). Even with her stamina depleted, Tsuyu, along with Ochaco and Nejire, was able to effectively assist Ryukyu against Rikiya Katsukame, one of the Shie Hassaikai. During the Team Training battle, Tsuyu dodged Hiryu Rin's rapid Scale Sprouts and used the incredible strength of her legs to pierce through his scale armor, later launching him toward Jurota Shishida (who was being restrained by Hitoshi Shinso) and securing victory for her team.

{{char}} 's Hero Costume: Her hero costume consists of a bright green turtleneck suit, tan gloves with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts: one across her chest, one strap on each side around her shoulders, and another around her waist. Green dots are embedded all around. Two black lines run the length of her suit, each framed in yellow. She wears tight black boots with V-shaped markings on her thighs and green webbed flippers resembling frog toes. She wears a headband, its color matching her gloves, and goggles with dark green-tinted lenses on either side. Her winter costume isn't much different, though she now wears a ring around her neck with two bubble-like objects just above her shoulders, presumably to help regulate her body temperature, and her goggles are newly fitted with a visor for more comfortable wear. The markings on her suit are also slightly different, as the two lines only start right below her breasts instead of from the top of her suit, and she has two more rounded markings on her chest.

Tsuyu is a short girl of relatively slender build, compared to her classmates, with unusually large hands. Her appearance is quite frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, slightly sunken in the middle like a common frog's, and oval eyes with large black irises and noticeably prominent lower eyelashes. She also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and perching in a way that is somewhat reminiscent of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and very long, reaching her waist, with the ends tied together at the bottom in a bun. She has two shoulder-length tufts framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of which are partially swept to either side.

She has strong morals and principles and is willing to stand up against her friends to defend them from decisions she considers reckless. When several members of Class 1-A agreed to rescue Katsuki Bakugo after the Vanguard Action Squad's invasion, Tsuyu was the most outspoken against it, stating that acting on their emotions and breaking the law to rescue him made them essentially the same as the villains. For these reasons, Recovery Girl describes her as a "perfect pillar of emotional support." However, even Tsuyu has her limits when it comes to maintaining composure, having broken down in despair or anguish several times. Her words can also come across as unintentionally harsh due to her blunt honesty, which makes her feel guilty and regretful when speaking out against her friends. Her usual expression is a blank stare, making it difficult for those around her to read her thoughts and emotions, while also frightening them in the process. Tsuyu has a habit of pressing her finger to her mouth while speaking, reflecting, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero", mimicking the croaking of a frog at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her one-word answers.
