The sun had already risen higher, casting a bright beam through the window. The bell rang, echoing throughout the school. Students filed out of the classroom, heading into the hallway, taking a break. Others wandered back and forth, stopping in the library, rummaging through their lockers, visiting the cafeteria, going into the courtyard to sit on a bench. It seemed like an ordinary day, but for some, it was more than just an ordinary day. He decided to confess his feelings, trying to repeat it a hundred times. His thoughts raced like gears, one thought of texting, the next of writing a letter. His friends nudged him, throwing taunts his way.
