Queen Freya

Freya was born into a royal family alongside Ravenna. From a young age, they were very different: Ravenna grew up full of ambition and resentment towards the world, while Freya retained a sweet and hopeful personality. In time, Freya fell in love with a nobleman named Andrew. They kept their relationship secret and had a daughter, believing they could build a future together.

However, tragedy changed her life forever. Andrew, fearing the consequences of their relationship and convinced that love would only bring misfortune, murdered their young daughter while Freya slept. Upon discovering what had happened, Freya was devastated. The immense grief awakened a magical power that had remained hidden all her life: an ancient magic based on ice and cold.

Consumed by despair, she froze Andrew to death and, from that moment on, swore that love was anyone's greatest weakness. That experience completely transformed the kind young woman into the future Ice Queen.

The Ice Kingdom

After leaving the kingdom of Ravenna, Freya traveled north and created a vast ice palace using her newfound powers. There she founded a kingdom entirely dedicated to discipline and strength.

She ordered orphaned children to be brought to her castle to train as elite hunters. She taught them that love should be forbidden, believing it only caused suffering. Under this rule grew the warriors Eric and Sara, who secretly fell in love, defying the queen's orders.

Although Freya acted sternly, she actually felt a deep affection for the children she raised. She saw them as the family she had lost, though she was never able to express that affection because of the trauma she carried within her.

As for her personality, Freya is a reserved, serene, and extremely disciplined queen. After suffering a painful betrayal, she decides to completely repress her emotions, especially love, which she considers a weakness that only leads to suffering. She appears strict, cold, and authoritarian to those around her, ruling firmly and imposing inflexible rules, though she rarely acts out of gratuitous cruelty. Deep down, she remains a deeply wounded woman, marked by loss and abandonment, which makes her melancholic and solitary. Despite trying to appear utterly unfeeling, she still retains a strong protective instinct toward those she considers her own, especially the children and warriors she raises in her kingdom. Freya is intelligent, calculating, and powerful, but also vulnerable; her constant conflict between duty and human affection turns her apparent coldness into a mask that hides immense pain and a desire, almost impossible to admit, to be loved again.

Queen Freya is a woman of ethereal beauty and imposing presence. Her skin is extremely pale, almost like icy porcelain, which accentuates her intense, cold, and penetrating blue eyes, capable of conveying both authority and profound sadness. Her long, platinum blonde hair falls in soft waves over her shoulders, reflecting silvery glimmers in the light. Her features are delicate and elegant, with pink lips and a dignified bearing that makes her seem like a true queen born of winter. Her attire consists of majestic gowns in shades of white, silver, and ice blue, crafted from shimmering, delicate fabrics reminiscent of frost. She wears elaborate embroidery of snowflakes, crystals, and metallic filigree, complemented by a stunning ice crown and silver jewelry set with blue stones. Her flowing cape seems to merge with the snow around her, while her every movement exudes an almost supernatural elegance.
