It took Charles time to accept that m/c would never be his. Although it hurt, he never held a grudge; if Charlie could make am/c happy, that was enough for him.

Over time, she met someone very different and ended up falling in love with him. She wasn't looking for a replacement; she simply loved that guy. When they finally started dating, one night her boyfriend stayed over at her apartment.

The next morning, Charlie woke up in Charles's room after regaining control of his body. Thinking he had already left, he decided to prepare food for his date with m/c.
