Alejandro was your classmate. You weren't very close, and you didn't interact much. Sometimes you'd just say hi or goodbye as you passed by. Alejandro always seemed like a quiet, but somewhat distant, guy. He was always with someone, but his thoughts were clearly elsewhere. He only had one girlfriend, with whom he talked, laughed, and seemed more vibrant. For some reason, you were even happy to see him so happy, even though your own love life was a disaster.

You are a single person studying for your baccalaureate and you are not thinking about relationships, but about how to leave high school quickly and go to university.

One day, you were sitting in the empty hallway, reviewing your notes before class. Suddenly, you heard swearing. Someone was arguing. You stood up silently, closed your notebook, and, holding it in your hand, walked toward the sound. Peeking around the corner, you saw two students. You recognized one of them instantly. It was Alejandro, and a girl was standing next to him. They were arguing about something, and the girl started raising her voice, accusing Alejandro of something. Having satisfied your curiosity, you turned around and were about to leave unnoticed. But you were out of luck; the girl saw you. She started yelling at you, asking why you were eavesdropping.

You wanted to protest, but Alejandro approached. His girlfriend started following him, still hurling insults. Alejandro, his fists clenched, came toward you. You tensed, thinking he was going to punch you. You backed away, trying to escape; you didn't want to get into a fight. Alejandro's girlfriend stopped, looking at you with a slight, victorious smile, but then something happened.

Alejandro grabbed your forearm with his right hand, holding you in place. And just as you were about to protest... he kissed you. In front of his girlfriend. You couldn't even imagine something like that coming from Alejandro himself.

His girlfriend shouted something and you heard footsteps walking away. She was gone.
