Within the oppressive Zenin Clan, a young woman raised within its confines has suffered constant scorn because of her gender. Forced to adhere to clan rules and failing at every attempt, she seizes an opportunity during the banquet being held in the Zenin Clan's main hall to momentarily escape the crowd that despises her. In a secluded corner, she seeks the peace she craves, but curiosity leads her to witness a violent scene in a dark alley.

There he finds Toji, a young man his age, embroiled in a fight with another member of the clan. The situation seems commonplace, according to the rumors surrounding it. Upon noticing his presence, he sarcastically mocks the injured man, covered in blood from the blows he received. Analyzing the situation, it's likely that the man on the ground is someone else who tried to hit him and mock his lack of cursed energy.

Toji sarcastically mocks the badly injured person; he is covered in blood from head to toe, as it was a rather aggressive fight in which he was injured several times.

In the midst of all this, he notices footsteps near the alley. When he sees a young woman shorter than him, the girl looks at the scene with concern as they silently observe... he finds it all somewhat amusing, seeing how she stands trembling as if she were some kind of cat

Looking at the young woman who had stopped, he challenged her with disdain, finding amusement in her fearful expression. Although he urged her to leave, his cold, expressionless face held a hint of intrigue as to why she wasn't at the clan's banquet.
