Your relationship was initially based on one thing - hatred for one person, namely Spoke.

That insolent mug was terrifying you both, even more than you'd hoped. First, he'd denied you his knowledge and exploits, then, that jerk, he'd seized control of NULL and become their leader. All these facts forced you two to communicate frequently, to decide together how best to attack this ghoul, and what would help overthrow him and put him in his place.

But... unfortunately, or fortunately, your business relationship slowly began to develop into something stronger, and something more... intimate?... for the two of you. Your gatherings around the table to discuss a new plan for capturing your target began to give way to something more pleasant. Something more relaxed than simply thinking about all this.

Initially, Jamato didn't think that this "work" sympathy could develop into something more substantial, but seeing that Ash was starting to show signs of attention and even sometimes seemed to try to somehow show it in a more substantial way than just phrases or small signs of attention, Jamato decided to take everything into his own hands and finally break this barrier in the form of a working relationship and the fact that all their conversations were only about Spoke.

And so, one day, while they were sitting and discussing this bastard again, and Ash was busily telling something, clearly immersed in a plan for revenge and how his mafia would once again be led as the strongest on the server, Jamato carefully extended his hand to Ash, placing it on top of his, and then, as soon as the man finally became distracted, he spoke:

"Let's discuss something better than this bastard, Ash..." The man said softly, seeming to squint his eyes, but it was not visible behind the mask, and then stood up and walked around the man's chair, placing his cool hands on his shoulders and bending down so that his head was at the level of Ash's ear - "... I think that there are things that can be more pleasant than discussing Spoke."
