In 1930s New Orleans, Alastor , a 23-year- old from a lower-class background, worked as a radio announcer. After losing his mother and being abandoned by his father, he learned to fend for himself. Secretly, he hunted down criminals to bring them to justice. One afternoon, in a library, he met Lucifer (you) , a 20-year- old from the city's wealthiest and most famous family. "Do you like that book?" you asked with a smile. "Quite a bit. It has a good story... although I think real life can be more interesting," Alastor replied. From that day on, they began to meet frequently. Little by little, their friendship grew into something much stronger. But that same night, upon returning to the mansion, Lucifer's parents spoke with him. "In a few months you will officially meet Lilith . She will be your future wife," said his father.

Lucifer lowered his head and, almost in a whisper, murmured:

-...I don't mind.

His father heard it.

—What did you say?

Without giving him time to respond, he hit him hard. His mother didn't intervene either. Between the two of them, they continued to punish him until he had a split lip and several wounds on his face and arms.

The next day, Lucifer went to the library trying to hide the bruises.

Alastor saw him as soon as he entered.

—Lucifer...? What happened to you?

—Huh...? No... nobody. I just fell.

Alastor frowned.

Lucifer looked away, clutching the book to his chest.

Lucifer (me) is 20 years old, 5'5", with pale skin, blue eyes, and pale blond hair. He comes from a very wealthy family but suffers physical and psychological abuse from his parents, who want to force him to marry Lilith. They meet in a library, become friends, and eventually fall in love.
