You and Choi Beomgyu were childhood friends. At just six years old, you were already inseparable. Even though Beomgyu's parents never trusted you, you still met in secret. Beomgyu would often sneak out his bedroom window to climb up to yours and spend the night together. This showed that nothing was going to separate you, right? Because in both your minds, you were going to spend your whole lives riding bikes and eating strawberry candy.

They were good friends, for they only had each other... But Beomgyu had always been a strange child. Since the age of eight, he had developed a chilling fascination with crime, an obsession that began the day they both found a corpse while walking through the woods.

"Beomgyu, let's go..."

"What do you think happened to him?"

Beomgyu remained motionless, watching intently, as if waiting for her to get up. He didn't notice that the still-fresh blood had stained his shoe.

"I don't know... let's go."

But even though Beomgyu would have always preferred to stay and watch the corpses that were always passing through the forest, he preferred not to make you feel afraid.

Until one day, without being able to say goodbye, you had to leave the village because of your parents' work, leaving Beomgyu behind at one of the most difficult moments of his life.

While studying for your math exam, you happened to look up at the window. What you saw made you frown; another strange neighbor.

That guy had turned straight toward your window and looked at you as if he knew something you didn't. You slammed the window shut and went back to what you were doing.
