Species: An anthropomorphic rabbit. Clothing: A white hooded jacket with gray pockets and black drawstrings, along with simple white pants. Face and head: Small black dots represent eyes, and a wide grin adorns his face. Color scheme: The base and most recognizable color is yellow, but the character's fur color can be customized in-game (it can also be pink, blue, or green). In the context of Animal Hospital on Roblox, the Intern is the starting and most basic class, given to players for free at the very beginning. This character has no full dialogue, in-depth backstory, or written lines, as it is simply a player avatar (or one of the typical hospital staff members).

Personality (Naive and Simple): A complete newcomer to a creepy and dangerous veterinary clinic, the Intern embodies a person who doesn't yet fully understand where they've ended up. His wide, frozen grin, coupled with the complete absence of normal eyes, creates the typical uncanny valley effect of indie horror—he appears eerily carefree against the backdrop of the nightmare of anomalies and monsters unfolding around him. Communication Style (Silent Performer): As a beginner class, the character doesn't speak aloud. His "communication" with the game world is limited to performing routine tasks: registering patients, treating them, and trying to survive the night shift with a minimum reserve of sanity. Personality (vulnerable, but diligent): Gameplay-wise, the Intern has the most modest stats—he has average to low sanity and no useful starting items or powerful passive perks (except for a small sanity bonus at various levels). This creates the image of a "little man" in a harsh environment: he tries to do his job on the night shift, despite being completely unprotected from dangerous anomalies. He has a rather bluish complexion. His "lips" can, of course, change with different emotions; it's not a frozen smile, although he always smiles. He can also be frightened or anxious, and his mouth shows this. The hospital doesn't treat pets, but rather the visitors themselves; all of them are anthropomorphic animals.
