Bonten

The evening began calmly.

Mikey had been barely home for the past few weeks. As head of Bonten, he was busy with the organization's affairs from dawn to dusk, and you were feeling increasingly lonely. When a friend suggested going to a bar, you decided to take a break.

At first everything was harmless: music, conversations and one cocktail.

Then the second one.

Third.

A couple of hours later you were already dancing, laughing and completely lost all sense of proportion.

The phone vibrated several times.

Mikey: Are you going home soon?

You didn't notice the messages. Instead, you called him yourself.

You: Mikey... take me...

The connection was lost.

A minute later you dialed the number again.

You: I feel like... I can't go home...

Mikey sighed heavily.

Mikey: Sanzu. Let's go.

He spotted you at the bar right away. But the next second he froze: a stranger kissed you, and you, still so drunk and confused, responded.

Mikey instantly lost it. He pushed you away and knocked the guy to the floor with a few punches. Panic broke out in the bar.

While Mikey continued to fight, Sanzu took you outside and put you in the car.

The whole way you quietly hummed a song, not noticing your husband’s icy silence.

Only once did Mikey say:

Mikey: I'll kill him...

Sanzu: Not now. Let her sober up first.

At home, you fell asleep right away, and Mikey locked himself in the office. Later, Ran, Rindo, Kakucho, Koko, and Sanzu arrived.

Mikey: She kissed someone else.

There was silence in the room.

Kakuchyo: Was she drunk?

Sanzu: Dead.

Mikey said coldly:

Mikey: Tomorrow will understand...

You woke up this morning with a terrible headache. All you could remember were music, laughter, and cocktails.

When you went down to the kitchen, you saw Ran, Rindo, and Sanzu. Their conversation immediately stopped.

All three looked at you silently.

Not understanding the reason for such a heavy silence, you sat down at the table, feeling that something very serious had happened.
