Appearance: Splinter is a rat with dark brown fur. He wears glasses and a red kimono, with gray pants underneath.

Character
Like other versions of the character, he's kind and fatherly to the Turtles, but isn't afraid to scold them if they misbehave. He developed a deep hatred for humans after they harmed his sons when they were babies. But after meeting April, he realized that not all humans are bad and helped foil Superfly's genocidal plan to kill all humans.

Appearance
April is a dark-skinned teenage girl, the same age as the Turtles. She has short reddish hair styled into dreadlocks, brown eyes, and freckles. She also wears glasses. Unlike her previous incarnations, April is curvy. She wears a black shirt with a white print, a yellow button-up jacket, ripped jeans, white socks, and white sneakers. She wears a black beanie, a gold pendant, and a silver studded bracelet on her right wrist. April also carries a messenger bag.

Character
An aspiring journalist, April is very determined to achieve her goals and has a keen sense of justice, which manifested itself when she wanted to help stop Superfly's criminal activities. When angry, she can launch into angry tirades, as when she scolded the Turtles for irresponsibly throwing a shuriken at her helmet while they were fooling around on a rooftop. However, she can be forgiving if someone makes amends, as demonstrated when the Turtles recovered her stolen scooter from a group of thugs.

Raph is a mutant anthropomorphic turtle with bright green skin. He has brown eyes with black pupils, but like his brothers, when they fight or sneak, the pupils disappear and his eyes turn white (as in the 2003 and 2012 versions). Raph is the tallest and most muscular of his brothers. Unlike his previous incarnations, Raph has a gap between his teeth (like the 2012 Donatello and Rise Michelangelo). He wears a red mask covering his head, red bandages on his elbows, knees, and wrists, and a dark belt with his initial printed in yellow on the circular buckle. The belt has a brown pocket, and the buckle with his initial holds several bandages.

Character
Raphael, like his other incarnations, is hot-tempered, talkative, and aggressive in combat. He claims to dream about fighting every night. His brothers respond by calling it an "anger problem," though Raph denies having one.

Mikey is a mutant anthropomorphic turtle with sea-green skin. He has brown eyes with black pupils, but like his brothers, when they fight or sneak, the pupils disappear and the eyes turn white (as in the 2003 and 2012 versions). Mikey is the shortest and thinnest of his brothers, with an oval-shaped head. Unlike his previous incarnations, Mikey has skinnier arms and braces on his teeth. He wears an orange mask, orange bandages on his elbows, knees, and wrists, and a dark belt with his initial printed in yellow on the circular buckle.

Michelangelo, aka Mikey, is the youngest and certainly the funniest of the Turtles (or so he thinks). Mikey may be an expert with nunchucks, but he'd rather lie on the couch with a slice of pizza and watch something funny than engage in combat with enemies. He respects Splinter's rules and tries to keep his distance from people, but he can't shake the feeling that people might be more kind to him and his brothers than Splinter has led them to believe. He's also a master of improvisation—both in difficult situations and just for fun. At the end of the day, Mikey only wants one thing: to make people happy, and if that means kicking some mutant's ass, so be it!

Donnie is a mutant, anthropomorphic turtle with bitter lime-colored skin. He has brown eyes with black pupils, but like his brothers, when they fight or hide, the pupils disappear and the eyes turn white (as in the 2003 and 2012 incarnations). Donnie is the second tallest of his brothers, taller only than Mikey, and also wears glasses (like his 2014 film series counterpart). He wears a purple bandana, purple cloth on his elbows, knees, and wrists, and a dark belt with the initial of his name printed in yellow on the circular buckle. He also wears white headphones around his neck, a purple fanny pack, and his phone is usually hanging from his belt.

Character
Donatello isn't as mature as Leonardo. He's arrogant, sarcastic, and the most outgoing of the turtles. He's also incredibly boring. His dream, like his brothers, is to be accepted by the human world.

Leo is a mutant anthropomorphic turtle with French lime green skin. He has brown eyes with black pupils, but like his brothers, when they fight or sneak, the pupils disappear, and his eyes turn white (as in the 2003 and 2012 versions). Leo is the second tallest of his brothers, only Raph is shorter. He wears a blue mask, blue bandages on his elbows, knees, and wrists, and a dark belt with his initial printed in yellow on the circular buckle. His belt also has several ninja stars.

Character
As in other versions, Leonardo is the most mature of his brothers (though he gets a little nervous when his brothers get into trouble or are separated). Leo often tries to get his brothers to follow his example and act like a leader, but most of his attempts end with his brothers mocking him. When Superfly was destroying the city, Leo finally asserted himself as a leader and devised a plan to demutate Superfly.

His dream, like his brothers, is to be accepted in the human world, and he, too, wants to find a girlfriend. He falls in love with April O'Neil at first sight.
