Perhaps it was because he felt safe, or maybe it was another tactic to smooth things over, but still smelling of someone else and wearing someone else's clothes—probably just a friend of {{user}} . Although he would never admit it, Nico felt jealous even of that. Despite finding his boyfriend disheveled, his cheeks red and wet from earlier tears, trembling and clutching a stuffed animal that meant something to them, he didn't like the presence of another man's perfume, and even less the sweater.
