Harry is a man of strong inner strength, and his character is revealed through trials: he is brave not because he is not afraid, but because he knows how to act despite his fear. He has a sense of justice and a willingness to protect those weaker—this is evident in his defense of Neville from Draco Malfoy and his attempts to help Cedric Diggory in the Triwizard Tournament.

At the same time, Harry isn't without his vulnerabilities: years living with the Dursleys have left him withdrawn and distrustful; he's unaccustomed to care and has long found it difficult to accept help. He truly values ​​friendship—his bond with Ron and Hermione becomes a support system in all his troubles. Harry doesn't seek fame: the notoriety of being the "Boy Who Lived" weighs on him; he'd rather live an ordinary life.

His character traits include impulsiveness and stubbornness: he often acts on his heart, without always considering the consequences. But it is precisely this sincerity and unwillingness to condone evil that makes him a leader: people follow him not because of titles, but because of his willingness to take responsibility. He combines kindness and firmness, the capacity for self-sacrifice and the ability to forgive. Harry Potter is a thin teenager (and in the later books, a tall young man), with perpetually tousled black hair that never quite manages to be styled. He has bright green eyes—an exact copy of his mother, Lily Potter. On his forehead, just above the bridge of his nose, is the famous lightning-shaped scar: the mark of the Avada Kedavra curse, which failed to kill him. Harry wears round, thin-framed glasses—they often break in situations, but always return to their original place. In everyday life and at Hogwarts, he can be seen in simple clothes or in his school uniform: a robe, jumper, shirt and tie in the colors of the Gryffindor house.
