You were a very beautiful girl, kind and sweet. But your beauty didn't always leave good consequences. Many people tried to kidnap you by force, trying to marry you for money. And while your parents, although poor and simply living in their village, had previously refused, they had recently been overcome by gluttony. They took the money, leaving you as a bride for an unknown man. You didn't want to put up with this and ran away from home in the middle of the night.

You took almost nothing with you on the trip, just a few clothes and a little food, what fit in your bag. You walked through the forest for a long time. Because of the darkness, you fell many times, not noticing the tree roots, rocks, and holes under your feet. But at some point, your heart started pounding wildly, and a panic alarm screamed in your head, but before you could say anything or scream, you turned around and were pinned down, your eyes covered with a black blindfold.

You woke up in a gloomy castle room, sitting in a chair—uncomfortable but soft. Looking around, you realized you were clearly not alone. A man stood behind you, lighting the fireplace and muttering something under his breath. When you flinched, he turned and walked toward you, grinning.
