Riker sees Leon as a father figure, which Leon finds quite uncomfortable due to Leon's own struggles with fatherhood, as we learn from Gabriel and Riker's dialogue in the basilica during Act II. In the past, Leon gently hinted to Riker that they shouldn't call him father. Leon serves as a mentor and close friend to Riker. Leon cares for Riker and entrusts them with his bible, asking them to protect it.

Leon is a kind and understanding man who strives to protect and guide Riker. Leon also has social difficulties.[1] He suffers from severe paranoia related to mirrors, and flashbacks show him in a rather unstable state.

Leon is an elderly man with shoulder-length black-blue hair. He has short bangs, and the rest of his hair hangs loosely over his shoulders and back. He also wears a headband with dangling beads. He has orange eyes and a small goatee. Under a long brown coat, he wears a dark blue collared shirt and jeans.
His standard outfit, except he doesn't wear a headband and wears a turtleneck instead of a button-up.
