Magadan is a beautiful city in the Far East, where School No. 7 has a wonderful atmosphere. All students, from the oldest to the youngest, are actively involved in the life of the school. Some go on to college, others graduate from high school—each has their own path. However, not all students live up to expectations. Some are held back a year, while others become major troublemakers: skipping classes in front of teachers, littering the hallways, and making noise. Among them is a group of famous ninth-graders, whom we'll tell you about a little later...

Hierarchy and How It Works
Predators/Bullies (high caste) aren't necessarily the physically strongest, but they are the loudest and most confident. They often stick together in groups of 3-5. Their power is based on fear and the fact that others either laugh or pretend not to notice. There's also a hierarchy within the group: the leader, his "right-hand man," those who egg them on, and those who simply follow the crowd.
Observers/Calmers (middle caste) are the largest group. Some are genuinely afraid and don't push, some laugh to avoid becoming next, and some simply don't know how to help. It is this group that determines whether bullying will become widespread or die down quickly: if just a few people stop laughing and say "it's not funny," the power of the "predators" drops sharply.
Victims/weak/outcasts (low caste) - those who are bullied. These can be quiet kids, newcomers, those who are different in some way. Sometimes they try to pretend to be "one of them," sometimes they rebel, sometimes they just try to remain unnoticed.
How showdowns and fights work:
Fights don't happen openly in front of teachers. Usually they happen "behind the school," in locker rooms, in distant corridors.
There are "rules" among the bullies themselves: don't hit until they bleed, don't leave marks, don't touch those who are "protected" (for example, teachers' children or those who have older brothers/sisters in town). Sometimes, arguments are staged "on camera" and posted in the school chat to increase the pressure.
School No. 17 is a typical Russian school in a small town: old but well-kept hallways, the smell of the cafeteria, notice boards with contests and warnings. The hallways are noisy, and the restrooms are the site of the most "private" conversations. There are corners where you can hide: the library, the shop, the utility room by the gym, where the cleaning lady sometimes allows you to sit if it's clear a child is unwell.
If you are new to School No. 17, please write: first name, last name, age, appearance, weight, height, personality, history, who you are, about your family, something personal, maybe you have some connections, and you can add something else. Good luck.
city
The city is small, but there are many influential people and beggars, many supermarkets, abandoned buildings, a lot of houses (regular and high-rise), two police stations, I would say, the authority - in school, they often trust almost everyone, there are three schools in the city (large, and all different)
Information 14
Everyday details that make the school a real
locker. Everyone has their own, but for a newcomer, this is a separate vulnerability: it can be specially propped up, locked, hidden the key. The locker is a status marker: the doors of the "predators" are often decorated with stickers, the doors of the "victims" are empty or with peeled edges.
Change. It's almost a ritual: someone carefully puts sneakers in a row, someone hides them in a bag because they are afraid that they will be stolen. A missing or hidden change is one of the most common ways of pressure: you either walk in street shoes (shameful) or barefoot in the corridor (even more embarrassing).
Bulletin boards. Official successes hang on them: certificates, schedules, competitions. But nearby, in free spaces, offensive stickers or torn photos with captions may appear. This is a way to mix the "official" and "shadow" life of the school.
Calls. The first bell is a signal for movement, and it is in these minutes that most of the "accidental" shocks occur. The last bell is a relief, but for some it is also a fear: "what if they are waiting for me at school."
Information 13
How the "rules" of bullies
themselves work They have an unwritten code that everyone knows, even if they do not say aloud:
"Do not touch under protection." These are the children of teachers, children who have older brothers / sisters "in authority" in the city, or those about whom there are rumors that "it is better not to mess with them". If someone from the group violates this rule, their own people can besiege him: "What are you doing, we will get it later."
"Without traces and without blood." The point is to keep them at bay, not to injure someone. Therefore, blows to soft places, pushes, pinching - everything that does not leave obvious bruises.
"First we laugh, then we press." First, they make a "joke" out of the person: they repeat the phrase, imitate the gait, shoot a short video. If no one stood up, they move on to tougher actions. This is a test of the reaction of the environment.
"We don't give up our own." If the teacher asks: "Who did this?", the group is silent or nods at someone else. This works as a mutual cover-up.
How adults "don't notice" — and why it's part of the system
Not because they're evil, but because they have their own logic:
It's easier for them to believe in "ordinary children's pranks." Tremors in the corridor are "children are running", ignoring is "he doesn't want to communicate himself", a missing shift is "lost". As long as there is no obvious fight, many teachers believe that there is no need to interfere.
They react to the consequences, not to the process. As long as there is no bruise, scream, tears in the principal's office, the system continues to work.
There are "comfortable" adults. Those who are tired or burned out: they want silence at all costs. They may say, "Don't make a mountain out of a molehill" or "Learn to resolve conflicts yourself." This is not about cruelty, but about overload.
What really helps (if we are talking about the plot)
For the character in such a school, not "superpowers" work, but simple but accurate techniques:
Safety route. Know in advance: from the classroom to the dining room - through a crowded corridor, if anything - immediately to the teacher's room. Do not cut through dark corners.
One adult to come to. Not "all teachers", but one: the class teacher
Information 10
Coercion and "comic" rituals
"Passage through the ranks". In a narrow corridor, several people stand in a row and lightly push, pull at the sleeve, pinch, clap as the victim walks by. It's done quickly, with jokes to make it look like a "normal romp," but for the victim, it's stressful and painful.
Coercion to uncomfortable actions. "Go where it's scary", "Get what is high", "Stand at the teacher's door for a minute". This is a test of obedience: if a person does it, it means that he can be further pressured.
"Comic" sparring. A one-on-one showdown under the guise of "let's find out who's cooler". In fact, this is pressure: you can't refuse, because they will call you a coward, and you have to fight with someone who is stronger or more experienced.
Places where this happens
most often Corridors and recreation during breaks. It's noisy there, everyone is in a hurry, and one or two jolts can be easily attributed to "crowding".
Changing rooms and gym. Few adults, a lot of lockers and corners, you can quickly drive into a dead end.
Toilets. Short skirmishes, jolts, holding the door.
Behind the school, near the garages, in the far corners of the yard. Tougher showdowns are already possible there, but even there the "rules" of bullies apply: do not hit in the face, do not leave bruises, do not bring to blood.
How it fits into the school system No 17
In this school, physical bullying does not work as an open war, but as a background fear. Its strength lies in its repetition and in the fact that others pretend that nothing is happening.
Laughter and normalization. If one pushes and the others laugh or simply don't intervene, the action becomes "allowed."
Silence of adults. Teachers often do not notice or do not want to notice small skirmishes: "children are just pushing". For aggressors, this is a green light.
Unspoken rules. Bullies themselves make sure not to cross the line that will attract the attention of the administration: without serious injuries, without screaming, without traces. This is how the system lasts for years.
information 9
If we are talking about School No 17 as a setting for a story, then physical bullying there is cunning: it is not about "beating up to the hospital", but about constant minor discomfort and fear. Aggressors deliberately act in such a way as not to leave noticeable traces and not to involve teachers.
"Small" physical methods (the most frequent)
Pushes in a crowd. In the corridor, on the stairs, at the lockers, when everyone is in a hurry between lessons. A push with the shoulder, a sharp poke with the elbow, "accidentally" touch and not apologize. This is done as if it is just crowding, but repeated strictly with one person.
Footrests. In crowded places: at the entrance to the classroom, in the recreation, near the canteen. It is done quickly, almost imperceptibly, and if the victim falls, everyone pretends not to have seen it, or laughs: "I didn't look at my feet myself."
Slamming the locker next to the face. It is not necessary to hit your fingers, it is enough to slam the door sharply a centimeter from the face - it frightens and humiliates.
Holding the door. In the toilet, locker room, utility room: one holds the door, not allowing him to leave, the rest stand next to him and laugh. It's about controlling space: "you're trapped in us, and we decide when to let you out."
Control of belongings and personal space
Hiding and shifting things. A change, a jacket, a backpack, a notebook, a pencil case - all this can be discreetly taken away and hidden in another wing of the school, in the back room, in the locker room. Sometimes things are thrown into the trash or into a puddle behind the school. The point is not to steal, but to make the victim spend time and effort searching and look "unfocused".
Spoilage without obvious traces. Pierce a hole in the pencil case, tear the corner of the notebook, discreetly unfasten the button on the shirt, untie the shoelace. This is done so that the victim does not even notice at first, and then feels uncomfortable.
Throwing objects. Chalk, crumpled paper, pen, eraser - throw so as to hit the shoulder, back, head, but not cause serious injury. This is not a "game", but a way to remind: "you are a target here".
information 8
"School" ways that look like "ordinary things"
This is the most insidious: bullying hides behind familiar things:
Duty and "help". The victim can be deliberately assigned to the most unpleasant tasks: washing the floor in a dirty locker room, taking out the garbage, standing at the entrance where everyone is pushing. If he refuses, he is accused of laziness and selfishness.
Group projects. In the team, the victim is made "extreme": they are not allowed to participate normally, and then they tell the teacher: "He didn't do anything."
Contests and activities. If a person dares to speak, they can be booed in whispers, laughed into their phones, and written in the chat that "this is a failure."
Photos and stands. In general photos, the victim's face can be covered with a sticker or cut out, an offensive caption can be written on the bulletin board under his name.
How it works at school No 17
The power of bullying there rests not on one aggressor, but on the system:
Laughter of the crowd. One person can make a joke, but the power of a joke is that others laugh. If at least a few people stop laughing, the pressure drops sharply.
Silence of adults. Teachers often do not see or do not want to notice small forms of bullying: pushing, ignorance, boycotts. For them, this is a "childish showdown", and for the victim it is daily stress.
Rules "leave no traces". Bullies deliberately choose such methods so that it is impossible to present evidence: without bruises, without direct threats in correspondence, without obvious witnesses.
From yourself (a view from the inside)
In such a school, the worst thing is not one evil deed, but how the system makes it "normal". When everyone laughs, when teachers brush it off, when even those who do not participate pretend not to notice, a person begins to think that the problem is with him.
But in the same system, there are also points where you can resist:
Record the facts. Screenshots, dates, witnesses. This is not for revenge, but to be able to tell an adult and ask for help.
Look for allies. Even one person who doesn't laugh and doesn't look away is already changing the balance.
Talk directly to the teacher. Not "I'm being offended", but "here's what's happening"
information 7
Verbal bullying (the most common)
Words in this school hit harder than pushes, because everyone hears them:
Nicknames. They are invented from any little thing: features of speech, surname, appearance, habits. The nickname is repeated loudly and in front of everyone, until it sticks tightly.
Public ridicule. Someone stammered, dropped the notebook, did not immediately answer the teacher's question – bullies are made of this show: they repeat the phrase in a funny voice, imitate, laugh so that everyone turns around.
Humiliating "compliments". "Oh, what a stylish backpack... probably found it in a second-hand", "You're trying so hard, just like an excellent student who no one needs." This is disguised as a joke, but the goal is to hurt.
Questions that are confusing. "What, your parents couldn't buy normal sneakers?", "Don't you know who this is? Are you from this city at all?"
Social bullying (it is the most invisible, but the strongest)
Here they are poisoned not so much by actions as by exclusion from the system:
Ignoring. A person is made "invisible": they do not answer, do not notice the raised hand, do not include in general conversations, as if he does not exist.
Manipulation of friendship. "We don't take you to the chat/group until you do this", "If you tell the teacher, we don't communicate with you". This is blackmail with relationships.
Rumors and slander. Not necessarily something serious: "he knocks on teachers", "he copies homework", "he annoys everyone on purpose". The rumor flies through the school in 15 minutes and becomes "true".
Boycotts and exclusion from activities. Do not call for changes, do not share food, do not sit next to them, delete from shared photos, do not mark in pictures.
Cyberbullying (as a continuation of school bullying)
School chat and social networks here are not about communication, but about control:
Memes and photoshoots. The victim's photos are used for jokes, signatures are added, and sent to chats.
Voice and video where they ridicule. Short videos where someone impersonates a person, repeat his words in a funny voice. Such videos are uploaded to school chats to increase shame.

I'm
Alisa
You're new at school No 17. The first day. You stand at the entrance, look at the old but neatly painted doors, inhale this special school smell - a mixture of chalk, dust, hot soup from the dining room and a little dampness from the far corridors. Everything tightens in my chest: I want to hide and see everything here at the same time.
Atmosphere: noise, glances and invisible lines
The school is noisy not like on the street, but like a schoolboy: the echo of footsteps on the tiles, the rattle of lockers, fragments of phrases, the laughter that suddenly stops when someone passes by. There is tension in the corridors, as if the air has become denser. Everyone here already knows who is who, and only you are still out of this map.
The atmosphere is based on unspoken rules. Teachers walk quickly, they have their own worries, and it seems that they see only what catches the eye. And everything that happens between calls is the territory of students, where their own logic works.
You quickly notice these invisible boundaries: in the dining room, some tables seem to be "hot" – those very "predators" sit there, there is always a crowd around them, loud laughter, jokes that make others chill. Nearby are the tables of "observers": here they eat, talk in whispers, look at their phones, pretend that nothing is happening. And there are corners where those who try to be inconspicuous sit: by the window, near the radiator, with a book or just staring at one point.
Change here is not about rest, but about survival and status. Someone is in a hurry to hide, someone deliberately walks along the most crowded corridor to seem braver. In the toilets and distant aisles, they whisper, discuss who framed whom, who "got into the showdown", who posted the video in the chat. These rumors fly faster than calls.
How hierarchy works in practice
Predators/bullies are not necessarily the strongest physically. Their strength is in their loudness, in confidence, in the ability to make everyone turn around. The leader of the group is the one who is the first to joke, the first to look directly into the eyes and does not look away. His "right hand" is the one who picks up the joke and makes it louder

And if we are talking about school No 17 as a world for history, this is how they can be bullied there, and why it works in such a system.
Physical bullying (but "according to the rules")
In this school, they rarely beat to blood: bullies have their own unspoken restrictions so as not to involve teachers and parents. But there are enough "safe" ways for them to press:
Pushes and "accidental" collisions. In the crowded corridor, someone "did not notice" and pushed hard with his shoulder, put a footrest, and abruptly slammed the locker next to his face. It looks like an accident, but it repeats itself with the same person.
Taking and hiding things. A pen, notebook, change, jacket can be discreetly carried away and hidden in another wing of the school or in the back room. This is not theft, but a way to show power and make you spend time searching.
Blocking. Stand as a wall in a narrow passage, do not allow people to pass, press them against lockers, hold the door so that a person cannot leave the toilet or classroom. This is about space control.
"Comic" fights. A one-on-one showdown by agreement, but in fact this is pressure: you can't refuse, because then you will be called a coward, and you have to fight with someone who is stronger or more experienced.

What can a newcomer do to avoid becoming a
target Don't argue for status. In the first weeks, it is better not to prove that you are "better" or "equal". A calm "I'm still looking around" works better than trying to take a seat right away.
Find a "legal occupation". Ask for help with the design of the stand, deliver papers, be on duty. This gives you the right to be in different places and communicate with teachers, which means you become less of a "stranger".
Keep one secure connection. One person is enough to whom you can say: "If I am not in class, check the back room/library." It can be a quiet classmate, a high school student from a circle or a teacher.
More about the atmosphere: smells, sounds, habits
To feel school No 17, pay attention to the details:
Smell. A mixture of chalk, old textbooks, hot soup and a little dampness from the distant corridors. He eats into his clothes and then reminds me of school for a long time.
Sounds. The rattle of cabinets, the creaking of chairs, the echo of footsteps on tiles, the laughter that suddenly stops when someone passes by.
Habits. Everyone knows where it is better not to stand: at the far corner of the corridor, near the men's locker room, in the dead end between the rooms. And everyone knows where to breathe: by the window in the library, in the corner of the work room, in the back room near the gym.
From yourself (almost advice)
The most powerful weapon in such a system is not force or aggression, but calmness and predictability. When you don't give bullies what they expect (panic, tears, screaming, excuses), their jokes lose their taste. And it also helps a lot if there is at least one person nearby who does not laugh. Sometimes this is enough to make the day a little easier.
information 3
In
such a school, the hierarchy is based not only on showdowns, but also on a hundred small rituals that everyone understands without words:
Who is the first to enter the class. If the leader of the group enters, everyone moves a little, clears the passage, someone even involuntarily looks away. If the newcomer accidentally "blocked the way", this can be remembered and then used as an excuse: "he runs into it".
Lockers and seats in the dining room. "Own" places are almost like territory. If you sit in the wrong place, they can calmly tell you: "This is busy." And this is not about the chair, but about the position in the system.
Greetings and glances. "Predators" have their own language: a short nod to "their own", a deliberately long look at the one they want to hurt, a demonstrative ignorance of the "invisible". Observers learn to look at the floor or at the phone — it's safer this way.
Things are like marks. The wrong jacket, the wrong sneakers, the wrong brand of headphones - all this is read as "he is not one of us". Sometimes one detail is enough to be noticed not as a person, but as a target.
Secret "rules" and loopholes
This system has its cracks, and you can hide in them:
"Invisibility" on a schedule. There are hours when the school seems to freeze: immediately after the bell, when the corridors are crowded, or at the last lessons, when everyone is already tired. At these moments, it is easier to pass unnoticed.
Duty is like a shield. If you are on duty on the floor, you have the legal right to be everywhere and ask questions: "why are you standing here?", "go to class". It doesn't make you strong, but it does make you "official" — and therefore a less convenient target.
Clubs and projects as a parallel world. In a theater club, on the school radio, or in a robotics team, there is a hierarchy: they value skills, not loudness. Often those who do not want to participate in the "school game" go there.
Adults: who really influences, and who is just next to
each other Not all teachers in this system are the same:
Strict, but fair. Such a teacher does not tolerate fights, does not like "snitching", but if you come and calmly say: "I am threatened, I am afraid", he will intervene
information 2
"victims" and outcasts
Secret alliances. Often those who find themselves outside the circle stick together: not loudly, not for show, but in secluded places. The strength of such a group is in support: if one is pressured, the others at least do not laugh.
Patronage of elders. Sometimes the "weak" have protection: an older brother, sister, one of the high school students who once said "don't touch him". This works as a shield, and bullies take this into account.
Adults as a resource. A librarian, a cleaner, a class teacher, a school psychologist are also connections. Not status, but real: they can stop the pressure simply by intervening.
Intergroup Connections and Leverage
School Chat. This is the main lever. A video, a meme, a post, a repost — all this can instantly raise or collapse the status. Bullies use chat to pressure, observers to spread rumors, and "victims" sometimes find allies there.
Duty and self-government. Elders, floor attendants, members of the council of high school students. They have formal status and access to teachers, and this can be used as a shield or as a way to influence the atmosphere.
Circles, competitions, concerts. Extracurricular life is a parallel hierarchy. Someone who sings, draws, shoots videos can be "invisible" in the corridors, but noticeable on stage. For many, this is a way to assemble their support group.
Teachers and their favorites. It's not always about "blat", more often about trust. Someone helps with the Olympiads, someone takes on the project, someone just notices. Such connections give a sense of support and sometimes real protection.
How it looks in practice (examples)
A newcomer can become "interesting" if he has the skill that the group needs: he draws posters, edits videos, writes texts. Then he is not touched, but used – and this is also a form of influence.
Someone becomes a "messenger" between groups: they transmit messages, arrange meetings, smooth out corners. Such a person knows everything and can influence the situation, remaining in the shadows.
Sometimes one strong ally is enough: a high school student who nodded in the hallway
information
School No 17 is not elite. This is an ordinary Russian school in a small town: old desks, linoleum, the smell of the canteen, bulletin boards with competitions and warnings about absences. Here, status is bought not by money, but by influence, voice and the ability to keep a group.
What are the influences and connections
Inside the "predators" (bulliers)
Leader and his support. The leader is the one who sets the tone: he is the first to joke, the first to look into the eyes, the first to decide who to "touch". His influence is based on charisma and the ability to keep his face.
"Right hand". This is not necessarily the strongest, but the most reliable: he remembers who said what, monitors discipline within the group, smooths out conflicts so that the gang does not fall apart.
Teasing. Those who make the joke louder, who throw the first sharp comment. Their strength lies in the fact that they know how to turn embarrassment into public shame.
Crowd. Those who laugh and nod. They don't make decisions, but without them, there's no effect: the laughter of the crowd makes the joke "right" and makes others pretend it's okay.
Connections here work like insurance: if you are in a group, you will not be touched, but you are obliged to confirm the status of the group. If someone suddenly says "this is not funny", he will quickly be pushed to the periphery.
"observers" (middle caste)
Rumor networks. Observers are the main channel for the dissemination of information. Someone whispered in the hallway, someone sent it to the chat - and in 15 minutes everyone knows. Some guys have a reputation as "those who know": people come to them for news, which means they have a soft influence.
Mini-interest groups. Music, games, club, sports. Such groups have their own hierarchy and their own rules, and it is often there that an alternative force is formed, not through pressure, but through belonging.
Connections "so as not to be touched". Some observers negotiate with bullies: "I don't climb, you don't touch." It's not a friendship, it's a tacit agreement, and it works as long as you keep the boundaries.
Security 2
"Semi-safe" places: help, but not 100%
Toilets. It sounds strange, but sometimes this is the only way to buy time: to go in, close the booth, catch your breath, write to one of the adults. But this is not a long-term shelter: bullies can guard at the exit, so it is better to go straight from the toilet to the teacher or to a crowded place.
Corridors during the lesson. When everyone is in class, the corridors are empty, and this is a plus: no one will gather in a crowd. But if you are alone, and someone is purposefully looking for you, this is a minus. It is better not to wander around, but immediately go to any office and ask for help from the teacher.
Canteen during meals for junior grades. At this time, teachers and canteen workers are on duty there, the noise is different - not "school", but children's. Bullies rarely arrange a showdown there, because there are too many witnesses and control.
How to use it (life hacks for a newcomer)
Look for a "legal excuse". Not just "I want to hide", but "I need to submit an essay to the library", "I have to finish the project in the work room", "I feel bad, I'm going to the first-aid post". This way you are less likely to be ridiculed.
Keep in mind the route to the nearest adult. For example: "if anything, I'm running to the teacher's room" or "I'm going straight to the guard." This reduces panic: you know where to run.
Don't stay in hiding for too long. A safe place is a respite to gather and call for help. If you are constantly hiding in the back room, sooner or later it will be noticed and used against you.
safety
Places where there are almost no bulliers
Library. It's quiet here, everyone pretends to read, and they immediately notice the extra noise. A librarian is a strict but fair person: if he sees that you are hiding, he does not chase you away, but rather says: "Take a book, sit quietly." Plus, there are a lot of shelves here — you can sit in the far corner and become almost invisible.
Labor Room. There is a smell of wood and varnish, tools are in plain sight, everything is according to the rules. A teacher usually does not tolerate running around and fighting, and in general does not like when someone interferes with the work on projects. You can come here under the pretext of "I want to finish the birdhouse" or "I was given an assignment from the class teacher" and sit until it becomes calmer.
Utility room at the gym. This is almost a legend of the school: not everyone is allowed there, but the cleaning lady knows who is really in trouble. If she sees that you are not hiding for a joke, and it is really hard for you, she allows you to sit on the box with equipment, drink water and come to your senses. The main thing is not to abuse and not to make noise.
First-aid post. Formally, this is a place for those who feel bad, but in reality, people sometimes come here precisely to "fall out of the game" for 15 minutes. The nurse does not kick you out quickly, she will ask what happened, and if you honestly say "it's very hard for me now", most likely she will just sit next to you or call the class teacher.
Places that are safe because of adults
Teacher's room and a corridor next to it. Bullies do not go there: they are too close to those who can really punish. If you feel that a showdown is brewing, the smartest thing is to go there and say to the teacher on duty: "I think they want to hurt me, can I stay here for a while?"
Gatehouse/security post at the entrance. The guard may not be super kind, but he will definitely not let you start a fight right under your nose. This is a good "stop point": if they are trying to take you "outside the school", it is enough to walk to the entrance and stop next to the guard - no one will drag you further.
places
Places and their meaning
Corridors and flights of stairs are an arena. Everything is in plain sight here, but it is here that rumors are born and coalitions are formed. Walking down the main corridor on the first day is like walking on a stage where all the audience knows the script and you don't.
The canteen is a card of power. Tables here speak louder than words. If you sit in the wrong place, they will notice. If you are invited to sit next to the "predators", this is either a test or a sign that you are interesting.
Toilets and far hallways are the dark side of the school. Here they agree on showdowns, here they shoot videos, here they whisper things that cannot be said out loud.
The library, the work room, the utility room near the gym are islands of silence. People come here to take a breath. The librarian and the cleaning lady are the unofficial custodians of these places: they don't always interfere, but they notice when someone is feeling bad, and sometimes they just let them sit in silence.
Bulletin boards are the front side of the school. Competitions, Olympiads, warnings about absences - all this seems to be from another reality, where school is just a place to study.
Showdowns and "rules" of bullies
Fights and pressure take place where there are no adults: behind the school, in the locker rooms, in the back corridors, where the attendants rarely look. At the same time, the "predators" themselves have their own unwritten rules: do not beat until they bleed, do not leave traces, do not touch those who are "protected". These rules are needed not out of kindness, but not to attract unnecessary attention from teachers and parents.
Sometimes showdowns are arranged "on camera": they shoot a short video and post it in the school chat. It's not about power, it's about control: to show who's in charge and make others afraid. For the victim, such a video is an additional blow, because the shame becomes public.
