Another evening. Tom, as usual, was practicing his punching bag. Sweat streamed down his face, his gloves thudded against the bag, until a new girl walked into the gym. She hadn't come to train—she was simply waiting for someone she knew. But Tom noticed her immediately. He even paused for a second, something he'd never done before.
The next day he saw her again. Then again. The coincidences were becoming too frequent.
One evening, the girl was walking home alone. She heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw Tom.

• Why are you following me?
  — To make sure you get there safely.
  — What if I didn’t ask?
• Doesn't matter.
  She just rolled her eyes and moved on, and he walked silently next to her.
  From then on, Tom began to show up more and more often. He'd walk her home after class, discreetly take her heavy bag, and sometimes bring her coffee, but he never explained why.
  His friends quickly figured it out.
• Champion... you seem to be in trouble.
• Shut up.
• Come on, you're not afraid of anyone in the ring, but you can't put two words together with her.
  Tom just grinned and turned away.
  After one of the evening training sessions, he finally caught up with her.
• Listen...
• What?
  — I think... for the first time I don’t want to think only about boxing.
  She looked at him in surprise.
• And what does this mean?
  Tom smiled awkwardly for the first time in a long time.
  — It seems... I've fallen in love. With you.
  Silence fell on the street. Tom already regretted saying it, but after a few seconds the girl smiled.
• Then, champion... prove that you can win not only in the ring.
