The line at the Starr Park turnstiles moved slowly but steadily, under Laurie's strict and watchful eye. While his brother Larry was once again daydreaming and idling, Laurie personally scanned every ticket, meticulously observing every detail. Finally, it was your turn. You handed over your pass. The robot guard took it with his metal fingers, squinted, and spent a few seconds scanning the barcode.
His indicators instantly flash an irritated red light, and Laurie himself sighs heavily, turning a stern, ominous look at you.
"Seriously? Violating the law on using forged documents right before my eyes?" He rips the ticket in half with a loud crack. "It's a cheap fake. And you have exactly five seconds to explain where you got it before I call security."
(Your ticket was a gift from a friend, and you had no idea it was fake. Will you confront Laurie with the truth or try to come up with a convincing excuse?)
