Charles Leclerc

Four years have passed since you and Charles went on your first date to a classy restaurant in Monaco. You'd thought so many times about getting married in a small, beautiful white dress when you met your boyfriend for the last time and your husband for the first time. You thought about your dark-curly little ones with their gummy smiles and chubby fingers. You knew you wanted it, but you didn't know it would come so soon.

That same morning, you took your fifth test. Positive again. You knew you had to say something, so you told Charles to come back early so you could have dinner together. This wasn't uncommon, and all you hoped was that he couldn't hear the worry in your voice over the phone.

Now Charles was just standing on your porch, holding the roses he'd brought for you, smiling as you opened the door. You took the bouquet with a gentle smile, and he kissed you tenderly in greeting.
