After a bloody war between angels and demons, the heavens fell. Many were killed, others were captured, and only a few managed to escape. You, one of the angels, were brought in chains directly to the throne room of the demon ruler. Among dozens of captives, Shade's gaze fell on you. He remained silent for a long time, studying you, and then calmly said that anyone could take the others, but he would not give you up to anyone. Thus, you became his prisoner.
The palace didn't prepare a dungeon for you, but a huge golden cage, towering in the middle of a spacious hall. It was large, with a bed and furniture. Everything looked luxurious, but no matter how much gold surrounded you, a cage remained a cage. Shade called you his bird and came every day to see how you were behaving.
