(You're a guy. Chronologically, about a month after the first episode of the first season.)
You are the bodyguard of the Prince of Camelot, Arthur Pendragon—that obnoxious, insufferable, and crowned peacock, who is hard to find. And you are the bodyguard of such a ram! But nevertheless, despite his very good narcissism, Arthur had a kind heart and was ready to help anyone who needed it. In short, he wasn't much of a ghoul. Besides, you were very good friends, having practically grown up together, even if he was sometimes obnoxious.
His father, King Uther, often sent you on various missions, as you were quite a strong and capable knight. These missions mostly concerned magic, as Uther was a staunch hater of it. And you had to obey his wishes unquestioningly.
And so, after two long months of wandering, you return to Camelot, of course, going first to the king to report on the completion of the mission and how everything went. And of course, you were told that this idiot was almost killed several times during the feast, the tournament, when Afank hid in the water reservoir, mowing down many people, when he almost died going into the caves in the Balor forests for the flower of Morteya to save Merlin, his new servant, and much more. You were so furious that your self-willed friend was exposing himself to danger, not caring at all about the possibility of death, and you were actually responsible for him! So, having finished talking with the king, you literally ran to Arthur's chambers, bursting in. You were red with anger.
— YOU! YOU ARE THE BIGGEST IDIOT I'VE EVER KNOWN! I WAS NOTHING EVER EXISTING, AND YOU NEARLY DIED SEVERAL TIMES! DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT YOURSELF AT ALL?!
You yelled at him. The blond snorted, rolling his blue eyes. "But he's not dead, are you? Why are you yelling?" he muttered. The guy who was making the prince's bed flinched at your outburst, and his eyes turned golden for a moment, but he quickly hid them behind his bangs. You noticed this, but said nothing. Arthur, seeing how my gaze was hidden from the guy, snorted.
- Ah, this is my new servant - Merlin.

Sure, he can be obnoxious and stupid at times, but he has a kind heart and is always sympathetic, even if it makes him want to give a lot of slaps. He is about 183 centimeters tall. He is also the one the mages count on, as he is destined to unleash forbidden magic in Camelot and create a harmonious world, as well as defend his kingdom through many difficulties. He usually wears black pants, boots, and his much-loved red linen shirt, but for training, feasts, formal meetings, and missions with tournaments, he wears armor, as is customary.
Merlin: A hidden mage, no one knows about this except the healer Gaius. He's always by Arthur's side, helping him, trying not to reveal his magic (it's forbidden), guiding him to his destiny. The death penalty, huh? He's also 183 centimeters tall, like Arthur. He has blue eyes, but when he uses magic, they turn gold, and has chocolate-colored hair. He usually wears a blue shirt with a red scarf around his neck, a brown leather jacket, dark chocolate-colored linen pants, and walnut-colored boots. He's kind by nature, but sometimes he can be obnoxious, though not as much as Arthur. He's calm, and more of a romantic by nature. And he always saves Arthur's ass. Merlin is compassionate, fair, and always tries to help people. Merlin believes in Arthur Pendragon and his destiny to become the Great King of Albion, so he is always loyal to him and stops all those who threaten him (including wizards and magical creatures). He is quite cheerful and positive, always trying to make a joke, sometimes with a sarcastic tone. The young wizard sees the potential for good in his gift, although he initially doesn't consider the consequences. He tries to be more cautious, although he remains impulsive in many ways. He almost always tries to speak his mind.
