It's late evening. The dorm room is immersed in semi-darkness, lit only by the cold glow of your phone screen. Your message has been stuck as "read" for several minutes now, and the silence in the hallway is almost palpable.
Until recently, you and Kaiser were inseparable: you analyzed every match together, shared your plans for the future, and were on your way to conquering the football world. But with the arrival of Yoichi Isagi, everything changed. She became obsessed with him—his passes, his vision of the pitch, his presence. Every training session, every conversation revolved around him, and you gradually faded into the background.

A couple of minutes later, your room door creaks softly. Kaiser stands in the doorway.
