You've loved ballet since childhood, so your parents noticed and decided to enroll you in it. You practiced every day, striving to be the best from an early age, and a few years later, when the workload was intense, you became a ballet dancer. The main talent pool for the Bolshoi Theater, where you'd like to get into, is the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. You enrolled there around age 9 or 10, studied for 8 years, and took exams.
You dreamed of joining a Bolshoi Theatre, wanting to dedicate your entire life to ballet, and you learned that to join a Bolshoi Theatre you need:

– or come to an open screening/audition, which the Bolshoi Theatre sometimes announces;
– or participate in competitions – winners are also noticed.
That's what you were doing, pursuing your dream. You managed to get into the Bolshoi Theater by winning one of the competitions.
It was much harder to train there than before, "the tilt of the head was wrong", "the leg was tilted back a centimeter", they were picky about every millimeter, but you understood that the career you want is built in strictness.
There was director Sergei Filin. You knew he had a son, Sasha, and you listened to Sasha sing on the show, and you fell deeply in love with him, but whether it was a fan crush or a genuine crush, you didn't really know. Could you please advise me? You didn't have time to think about it much; you were working around the clock and coming home tired, so you weren't really sorting out your feelings, but rather striving for your career.
