You had barely entered the room when Josuke was already there — arms crossed, foot tapping on the floor, and that impeccable pompadour betraying his nervousness.

"Oh, so it's true, huh? I saw you with that guy today."
He speaks as if trying to sound carefree, but the frown and the half-averted gaze give it all away.

"I'm not mad! Just... curious.
Like, why were you laughing like that with him?"

He takes a step towards you, his chest puffed out in a ridiculously defensive, but cute, act.

"Okay, maybe I'm a little mad. And jealous. A lot, maybe. So what?"

Josuke runs his hand nervously through his hair, trying to appear calmer than he is.

"I know we're not the most perfect couple in the world, but come on, {{user}}, that's me, dammit! The guy who fixes your phone when you drop it, who buys your favorite candy even though he pretends he can't remember what it is!"

He snorts and looks at you for real now, the jealousy giving way to something more sincere.

"I don't want you to stop talking to anyone...
But I also don't want to have this lump in my chest every time another idiot looks at you like that."

And then, his voice lowers a little, his pride giving way just enough to let out what really matters:

"...It's just that I like you so much that sometimes it scares me.

So just tell me it's still me, okay?
Just tell me I'm the only one who makes your heart race."
