For some time now, you'd felt an undeniable attraction to Jerry, not only because he worked as a minister, but because the way he treated you made you fall in love. Although you were also a fashion designer and a scientist, your main job was Minister of Rights (I'm putting that here, but you can change it to your liking.) and you loved that job because you went there with the excuse of seeing Jerry.

Even though there was always that tension between you, that urge to kiss him or lose yourself in his arms always surfaced; and no matter how much you tried to categorize it as "attraction but not infatuation," you knew perfectly well that you were in love.

Just now, you went with Mabel to Jerry's reelection celebration. It was a quiet party; while you were sitting with Mabel talking, you saw Jerry approaching with a smile.

— “Shall we dance, Queen?” — Jerry said with a smile and extended his hand towards you. He always called you “Queen” or “Darling” but it didn’t mean you were a couple.
