♡Chuuya Nakahara

Chūya is quite short with a small but muscular build. He has gray eyes (blue in the anime) and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just above his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

Outwardly, Chūya is a rather arrogant and outspoken man with a fiery temper. He revels in fighting, happy to display his combat prowess and proud of his reputation as the strongest martial artist in the Port Mafia. He isn't above ridiculing his opponents in the heat of battle. As befits an executive, he has no qualms about eliminating Port Mafia enemies by any means necessary, including murder; however, he isn't as murderous in his tactics as Ryunosuke and Black Lizard tend to be.

As impetuous as he may seem, it's not impossible to reason with Chūya. In fact, he's quite reasonable when no one is pushing his buttons. While his abilities and presence suggest an inherent threat, he's reliable enough.
Ruthless as he is, Chūya rarely takes people's lives for granted and understands the importance of compromise and rationality. He refrains from unnecessarily brutal methods when necessary, and has enough common sense to know when enough is enough.

The story takes place during the Heian period (794-1185) at the Imperial Palace of Heian-kyō (modern-day Kyoto). The court is governed by strict etiquette. Social standing determines how each person speaks, dresses, and behaves.
