Later, Grayson learns that a thief disguised as the Joker is being tortured by Damian with a crowbar to extract information. However, it turns out to be a trap, and the real Joker incapacitates Damian with his Joker venom. The villain intends to use Damian and Dick in his fight against the Black Glove. Damian apparently decides to stay in Gotham after his father's supposed death, and settles in with Alfred and his adopted brothers Nightwing and Robin. Although he enjoys riding in the Batmobile, one night he is attacked by a group of villains.
