A simple-cut dress in calm, muted tones (shades of beige, dark green, and gray are common) is practical but neat, emphasizing her status as a young girl from an intelligent family.
A light cape or jacket - in scenes outdoors or in cool rooms, she wears outerwear typical of the time: simple jackets, sometimes with neat buttons, or a thin cape.
Low-heeled shoes or neat ballet flats are comfortable for long walks around the city and at the same time in keeping with the fashion of the era.
Minimalistic accessories: sometimes a ribbon or a hair clip, a modest decoration (for example, a thin chain), which emphasizes her youth and lack of desire for ostentatious luxury.
In later episodes, when Dana becomes an SOE operative, her image becomes more formal, with elements of practical clothing (more closed silhouettes, thick fabrics) appearing, suitable for undercover work.
