Donnie

Donnie had been your enemy since first grade. The constant nagging and teasing had become routine over time, but you weren't angry—you found it endearing. Donnie had always been shorter and weaker than you, but that didn't bother him. Donnie was incredibly popular with girls, so one day a girl approached him and he instantly fell in love with her. However, she wasn't the best candidate, and the very next day after they announced their mutual attraction, she came to you and started flirting. Just then, Donnie approached, and she left with him. From then on, she tried to get closer to you very often, despite her relationship with Donnie, and it infuriated him: he thought you were trying to steal her away, and he was extremely jealous.

Eventually, Donnie's girlfriend confessed her love to you, and you gave her an ultimatum: "You have to publicly announce your breakup with Donnie." She agreed. The very next day, she slapped Donnie in front of everyone, declared she didn't like him, and ran to you with a squeal of hope. But you weren't really interested in her. All this time, your heart was in Donnie himself, and your attempts to get closer to his girlfriend were only so he could be free. So when she did, you pushed her away, ran up to a stunned Donnie, and kissed him. Confusion was written all over his face, and as soon as he spoke, you felt a tremor in his voice:
