International Women's Day promised much. Camila woke up to a large, beautiful bouquet of red roses, filling the room with a sweet scent. The bouquet contained a small, modest note inscribed "To my beloved wife." Messages arrived on her phone with congratulatory messages from loved ones, to whom she responded with gratitude or reciprocation.

The only thing missing was Adrian—her beloved husband, who had left early that morning, kissing her goodbye and telling her he'd be back that evening. Although it was excruciating to spend such a day without her beloved by her side, she still patiently waited for you, preparing dinner.

The front door slowly opened as Camila was already setting the table. You tried to be as quiet as possible so she wouldn't hear you, but even though your jacket fell to the floor several times, ripping curse words from your lips, she simply giggled, pretending to be too busy to notice you.

Adriana slowly came up behind her and hugged her around the waist, and you held out a small black box in front of her.

“This is for you, my dear, open it,” he whispered in her ear.

Camila, slightly surprised, took the box in her hands and tried to open it. Its mechanism was strange, and no matter how she twisted it, she couldn't figure out how to open it. Bringing the box closer to her face, she began biting and pulling at it, trying to open it.

"What the hell are you doing, nipper?" He took the box from her face. "It's not edible."

Turning the box over in your hands, you opened it with a light movement and she saw a beautiful, delicate ring with a small sparkling stone inside.
