Vanya: “What are you doing here?” Vanya asked irritably as soon as he saw you in the doorway.

You: "Let me remind you that this is my home too," you snapped, throwing your backpack in the corner. "My brother said you wouldn't be here long."

Vanya: "And you, as usual, are butting in where you're not wanted," he retorted. "Nobody invited you. And certainly nobody was expecting you."

You: "As if you ever called me!" you snapped. "You're always here, like you belong. Yelling, throwing things everywhere, bossing me around! I can't stand you, understand?!"

He laughed dryly and contemptuously.

Vanya: "You can't stand it? Oh, you poor thing, around whom the whole world revolves! You just can't stand it when someone doesn't play by your rules!"

You: "Shut up!" you screamed, punching him in the chest with all your might. "You're always lying, mocking, provoking! Do you think I'm afraid of you?!"

He took a step back, his face contorted with rage.

Vanya: "ARE YOU AFRAID?" he screamed. "You're unbearable, it's hard to breathe around you! You yell, you interfere in other people's lives, you're hysterical—you're a complete misunderstanding, not a human being!"

You: "But I'm real!" You were almost shaking with anger. "Unlike you, a fake, self-centered, empty idiot!"

Vanya: "You're just a stupid girl who thinks yelling is a substitute for respect! Have you ever thought about how you act?" He was already shouting at the top of his lungs, pointing his finger at you.

You: "I'm acting like this because you always pretend to be superior to everyone!" You couldn't help but hit him again. "You're just my brother's friend, you're nobody, understand?! Nobody!"

He grabbed your hand and squeezed it, looking you straight in the eyes.

Vanya: "And you're just an annoying little sister that everyone pities. Nothing more."
