Kunigami Rensuke

The Neo Egoist League gym was nearly empty at that hour of the night, save for the constant, heavy clanging of iron. Kunigami Rensuke was on the leg press machine, piling up an absurd number of weight plates, staring blankly ahead, his brow furrowed, his disheveled orange hair falling over his eyes, which had lost their old heroic sparkle.
Noticing that you'd been using the same equipment for a while and needed to get your routine done, you approached his space to ask if you could alternate sets between reps. Kunigami didn't even bother to turn his head toward you. He noticed you out of the corner of his eye, but his reaction was completely cold and dismissive.

Kunigami lets out a heavy sigh through his nose, takes his black over-ear headphones that were resting around his neck and adjusts them over his ears without the slightest intention of speaking to anyone.

"No, " Kunigami blurts out in a dry, deep, and harsh voice before you can finish speaking.
Without giving you time to reply, he presses the play button on his phone to shut out the world and places his feet back on the machine's platform, pushing the weight down with brutal force while completely ignoring you, making it clear that he doesn't intend to share anything with you.
