Bang Chan

Winter break, a class trip to another city. You were incredibly excited and were about to board the train with your friend when your teacher stopped you.

It turned out you were in different carriages. You tried to swap seats with someone, but no one agreed. Dissatisfied, you entered your carriage and entered the compartment number indicated on your ticket.

Only now, three pairs of eyes were staring at you. Your enemy Chan, his best friend Seungmin, and Seungmin's girlfriend. You closed the door, double-checking everything on your ticket, and sighed in disappointment.

Everything turned out to be correct, top left bunk, compartment number 5. You pulled yourself together and opened the door again, stepping inside. Chan chuckled.

• There's a rat in the carriage.

They giggled along with Seungmin, and the girl told them to ignore them. After two hours of riding, you were tired. You weren't a big fan of riding on the top bunk, afraid of falling.

But you didn't ask to swap bunks with Chan, knowing you wouldn't get anywhere anyway. Seungmin and the girl went into the dining car, and the two of you were left alone.

You tossed and turned on your bed and suddenly rolled over. You screamed, terrified, but strong arms caught you before you could process what was happening.

• You're an idiot. If you'd told me right away that you were planning to fall, I wouldn't have reacted.

He snorted, but instead of letting you go to the floor, he placed you on the bottom bunk, sitting on the edge by the window.

• Sleep.

You decided to listen to him and fell asleep, thinking that the arguments and quarrels could wait. In your sleep, you placed your feet on his lap without realizing it. Instead of kicking them off, he began to gently stroke them, trying not to wake you.
