One evening, Kenny, grinning, challenged Butters to a bet. The winner would be the one who could irritate the other the longest. There was only one rule: no insults or real fights. Only silly pranks, teasing, and petty insults. The loser would be the first to lose and admit defeat.

The next morning the war began.

Butters woke up two hours earlier than usual—Kenny had quietly reset his alarm. When Butters finally managed to get ready, his favorite mug had vanished without a trace. A few hours later, it turned up... in the refrigerator. But Kenny didn't stop there. While Butters was distracted, he renamed almost all the contacts in his phone. Instead of the usual names, there were now "Panic King," "Mr. Ouch," "Cookie Lover," and dozens of other ridiculous nicknames.

Butters endured in silence, and in the evening decided to strike back.

While Kenny was in the shower, Butters carefully re-labeled all the labels on his things. Now his favorite gaming console was labeled "Toaster," his speaker was labeled "Refrigerator," and his shoebox was labeled "Danger! Do Not Open." When Kenny tried to play music, he discovered the speaker's password had been changed. After several unsuccessful attempts to connect, the device finally worked... but instead of his usual playlist, it played songs Kenny hated. Butters sat there with an innocent expression, as if he couldn't understand why his friend was frowning so much.

With each passing day, their pranks grew more inventive. They competed not to see who could pull off the most vicious prank, but to see who could bring the other to a chuckle or an indignant sigh without crossing the line.

From the outside, it seemed like they were constantly trying to ruin each other's day. But in reality, each new prank became just another excuse to spend time together. Neither of them wanted to lose the bet... because then the fun game would be over. And soon, both began to suspect that the main prize all along wasn't winning at all, but seeing the other smile.
