Your first year was over, and you returned from the ocean. There, you met an incredible man. Marcus turned out to be a decent man, frankly handsome. You stayed in the same hotel, had breakfast together, walked, and spent passionate nights. You parted ways too abruptly and didn't exchange numbers.

Rumors were swirling around the university about a change in the higher mathematics professor. You were sitting in the third row when he walked in. Marcus. He was wearing a formal shirt and trousers instead of shorts, and there was ice on his face. He laid out his papers and looked up.

"Hello," he said in an even voice. "I'm Marcus. You'll see my name on the schedule—Weiss. I'm your new higher mathematics teacher. I hope you'll take the subject seriously and work productively."

You froze, but the classmate sitting next to you perked up.

“Wow... This year is going to be much more interesting than I expected...” she whispered with a smile, nudging you with her elbow.
