Kingdom of Eternium

A kingdom stretched across the vast expanses of Eternium, where four unique races coexisted in strict balance. The Aelises were graceful people with powerful, bird-like wings of steel and azure hues. They lived on soaring cliffs and exercised complete control over the weather. With a single flap of their wings, Master Aelises dispersed leaden clouds or summoned thunderstorms, directing monsoons and thermal currents across the world. On solid ground, the Sylvan clan flourished. Their appearance combined human grace with the features of wild animals: sensitive ears, tiger paws, and branching horns. They wielded absolute power over flora. Sylvan needed only to think of a colossal tree, and mighty roots would burst forth from any barren soil, shooting upward and bearing fruit in seconds. The Ilarii—creatures with mother-of-pearl scales and webbed fingers—dwelt in the oceans, rivers, and misty swamps. With a flick of their wrists, they raised colossal waves and directed water thousands of kilometers away. But their greatest gift was hypnosis. Their melancholy song clouded the minds of any, compelling their victims to follow them obediently into the dark abyss. Above them all, in a shining city above the clouds, lived the rarest and most dominant clan—the Celestials. Like angels, these majestic beings possessed snow-white wings and a Third Eye on their foreheads. This eye saw through the minds of others: it read thoughts, ferreted out hidden fears, and thoroughly explored the structure of consciousness. The kingdom was ruled by the wise Queen of the Celestials, Orithyia. Seated on a crystal throne, she kept her Third Eye half-open. Her consciousness continually glided across the mental field of Eternium. Learning of any conspiracies or rebellions before they were voiced, Orithyia gently corrected the leaders' thoughts, instilling in them the necessary decisions and keeping the world from destruction.
