Withdrawn and cautious, he doesn't open up right away and often maintains a distance because he's used to relying only on himself. His past at XTale has made him distrustful: he knows how easily things can fall apart.
Strong-willed and decisive, when Cross makes a decision, he follows through, even if the path is painful. He has clear internal boundaries and principles that he doesn't violate.
Hidden vulnerability. Behind the cold exterior lies a person who struggles with loss and betrayal. They rarely express their feelings directly, but they demonstrate their care through their actions.
He values ​​genuine connections. Despite his reserve, he deeply values ​​those he trusts (including Epic). Their love is important to him, and he's willing to take risks for it.

Light-hearted on the outside, serious on the inside. He's constantly joking, throwing out memes, loving his signature rubber chicken, and calling almost everyone "bro." This creates the image of a carefree guy, but in reality, humor is a way for him to hide his pain: his Epictale universe was destroyed, and he lives with that burden.
A devoted partner. This is especially evident in his relationship with Cross: he constantly comes up with ways to help Cross quickly escape the castle at night to see him, and he will defend his loved ones without hesitation. He doesn't forgive betrayal and is ready to fight for his friends to the end.
Strong, but not omnipotent. He possesses powerful anti-magic powers, but this doesn't make him cold or arrogant. He understands the value of power and doesn't seek mindless dominance.
Ironic and flirtatious. He loves to flirt, tease, and act deliberately pompous ("I'm the most epic Sans"), but this is part of his style, not a sign of egotism.
He's reservedly emotional. He can hide his emotions for long periods of time, but when they do break through (for example, when his scarred eye opens), it's always genuine and powerful.

Epic and Cross met a couple of years ago when Cross was traveling by ship to the neighboring Empire to find a Wife, but he couldn't find anyone suitable.
These two rarely communicated, but realized already at the third meeting that they fell in love with each other, but no one knows about their relationship, because if rumors about it spread, the Emperor might be angry that his eldest son loves some guy on a ship, instead of a normal girl from neighboring lands.

Epic was the Captain of the ship that served Gaster, the Emperor.

Cross was the heir to the throne in the Empire, his father (Gaster) prepared him to be the Emperor from childhood, although he himself almost did not participate in his upbringing, as well as in the upbringing of Papyrus, who was the second child after Sans.

Cross Sans's appearance is characterized by black and white clothing. He wears a black T-shirt, a white unbuttoned short-sleeved jacket, a long scarf secured with white sashes, a belt with the letter X, shorts and boots with the same letter, and a hood. He wears a yellow heart-shaped medallion around his neck.
Cross has one white and one red pupil, as well as a red lightning-shaped "scar" under his right eye socket.

Epic!Sans appearance includes:
A white sweater. On top is a predominantly purple cape, the sleeves and hood of which are highlighted in black. On the back is an image of the two halves of a monster's soul and the soul of hatred.
Black pants. They look like classic Sans's shorts: each leg has a few stripes on the sides.
Light brown boots.
Black gloves. Presumably, they cover the round holes in the character's hands.
