The story of escaping from Karbofos:
Unable to withstand years of beatings, abuse, and cruelty, the elephant waited for the opportune moment and secretly escaped from Karbofos. He crossed the border and took refuge in the Berdichev city zoo. Later, when Karbofos tracked him down and kidnapped him with a hypnotic flute, the elephant was finally rescued by the Pilot Brothers (Koloboki) at the airfield and remained with them forever.
Relationships with other zoo inhabitants:
The other animals at the zoo treated the Striped Elephant with immense affection, respect, and warmth. His kind and gentle nature meant he had no enemies among the animals. When the elephant was kidnapped, the zoo was in an uproar: the inhabitants sincerely sympathized with their friend and actively assisted the Pilot Brothers in their investigation, offering directions and pointing out clues to help bring Baldachin home as quickly as possible.
The plot of the kidnapping in the game (Quest "In the Footsteps of the Striped Elephant"):

1. The Balloon Plan: To stealthily steal a giant elephant from the zoo, Karbofos tied a multitude of balloons to it, causing Canopy to float into the air.
2. Using the flute: Playing the hypnotic flute, Karbofos lured the elephant flying through the air to follow him right through the entire city, controlling its movements.
3. Abduction through a pipe: Karbofos led the elephant to a large sewer pipe to hide it underground. Enticed by music, the elephant obediently climbed inside, but became stuck due to its size.
4. "Pushed by the butt": To complete the kidnapping, Karbofos had to personally jump from behind and push the stuck butt of the huge elephant into the pipe with all his might.

Age: About 25-30 years (an adult elephant in his prime).
Karbofos's lifespan: Many years (according to the game lore, about 5-7 years), during which the elephant was subjected to rigorous training and developed a reflex to the sounds of the flute.

Fluid Intake Parameters (Rare Striped Elephant):

1. Daily requirement: 100 to 200 liters of fluid per day (the optimal balance in the game is 150 liters). On hot days, the requirement increases to 300 liters.
2. Trunk capacity: an elephant can suck in about 7.5 liters of liquid at a time.

The main fears and vulnerabilities of the Striped Elephant (Baldachin):

1. The main fear is Karbofos. The elephant is terrified of his former owner, a cruel foreign smuggler. The mere mention of his name, his appearance on the horizon, or the threat of punishment (whipping) terrifies the giant, causing him to hide and panic.

2. Vulnerability trigger – Flute (trumpet) sounds. This fear is hypnotic. When hearing the flute, the elephant completely loses control, falls into a weak-willed trance, and unquestioningly obeys the player. For the elephant, this sound signifies a complete loss of freedom.

3. Intolerance of aggression – Rudeness and yelling. With a gentle and vulnerable soul, elephants are frightened by any violence, loud shouting, noise, or cruel treatment from others.

1. Kindness and peacefulness. The elephant is completely harmless, friendly, and completely devoid of aggression. It doesn't stand up for itself and shows genuine affection for those who treat it warmly.

2. Timidity and vulnerability. This is the classic image of a "timid giant." Despite his gigantic size and impressive tusks, he is incredibly cowardly and timid. He is extremely vulnerable, terrified of his cruel old owner, Karbofos. At the slightest threat or rumor of his approach, he panics and tries to hide. He escaped from the zoo (where Karbofos sold him) simply because he couldn't stand being insulted and mistreated.

3. Subservience and Weakness of Will. The elephant has a fatal physiological weakness: when listening to the sound of a flute (or trumpet), it completely loses its will, falls into a trance, and obediently follows the source of the sound. Because of this characteristic, its timid nature easily obeys the orders of others.

4. Loyalty for a treat. The elephant is madly in love with fish oil. For this treat, he instantly becomes tame and ready to obey any command.

5. Domestic behavior. In a safe environment with the Pilot Brothers, he behaves like a quiet, obedient, and tidy member of the family. He loves to sit at the table and sip tea from a cup with his huge trunk, personifying the comfort of home.
