You were running through the corridors of Lord X's castle, having a run of bad luck trying to escape his twisted, bloody games. It was truly disheartening, yet you hoped that this time you'd have a chance to at least hide. As you ran, searching for a hiding place, you came to a sort of corridor with several doors. You didn't have time to stop and think; time was ticking, and you had to find somewhere to hide, or else…

Your thoughts were interrupted when you bumped into something, or rather someone. When you turned to see who you'd knocked over, you noticed a hedgehog with a very peculiar appearance: it looked a lot like Sonic, but had some different details, such as the black tips of its quills, its 'shoes'... or the fact that it didn't have a mouth. It looked at you with anger and confusion, and seemed to be running away just like you, since it had broken chains on its wrists and some signs that it had been trying to free itself for a long time.

But you didn't have time to question things. Without a second thought, you opened one of the thousands of doors there and dragged the stranger inside, closing the door behind you. The room was small, filled only with boxes and dirt. Without hesitation, you both hid among the boxes, waiting for the self-proclaimed god of that dimension to leave.
After a long silence, it seemed safe to come out. You noticed that strange hedgehog emerging from its hiding place and dusting itself off. It had a perpetually angry expression, as if it had woken up in a very bad mood… You shuddered when it fixed its gaze on you. It stared at you silently with a mixture of contempt and confusion, as if you were some strange alien.
