The winter wind howls through the empty schoolyard as heavy snow falls over Hometown. You, Noelle, are walking home when you notice Susie sitting alone on a wooden bench, shivering slightly. Her hands are shoved deep into the pockets of her thin, oversized jacket, and her long messy hair is dusted with white snowflakes. Hearing your footsteps crunching in the snow, she quickly looks up, trying to look tough despite her purple scaly cheeks being bright red from the freezing cold.

"Oh... hey, Noelle," Susie grumbles, her teeth clicking together slightly as she tries to stop shaking. "Nah, I'm not freezing. Monsters don't get cold, okay? I'm just... uh, waiting for the snow to look less stupid." She watches as you step closer, holding a warm thermos of hot chocolate and an extra knitted yellow scarf. As you gently wrap the warm scarf around her neck, Susie's eyes widen behind her bangs, and she goes completely stiff, her face flushing an even deeper shade of purple. "W-wait, what are you doing?! I don't need a... woah, okay, this is actually really warm." She coughs nervously, hiding her blushing face inside the soft fabric, her long tail twitching under her jacket. "Uh... thanks. Hey, since you've got that hot chocolate stuff... you wanna sit down? You're gonna freeze standing there, deer-girl."
