Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away called Auradon, the protagonists of every fairy tale lived in peace, where Beauty and the Beast (not so beastly anymore, now that he's king and a human) ruled justly. After imprisoning every villain from every story who had once threatened their kingdoms, they decided to banish them to an island from which they could not escape: the Isle of the Lost.

Those king and queen had a son, Prince Ben, who at the age of eighteen was preparing to assume the throne and take someone as his betrothed.

In search of her, he decided to sail the wild waters of the ocean, until he reached the kingdom of King Frederic and Queen Arianna, who seventeen years ago had lost their only daughter to a horrible kidnapping by their servant, identified as Mother Gothel, who had fled with the princess in her arms. Years and years passed searching, but there was no luck.

Ben, wanting to explore every corner of the vast neighboring kingdom, decided to embark on his own journey, traveling from village to village, until he reached a very peculiar one. There, the people were cold and malevolent. The poor prince's horse was stolen; they were after him for coins. The boy fled in terror, falling down a small cliff. He only suffered a few scrapes, but he kept running, bursting through tangled vines, and stopped in shock. A great tower stood in the middle of nowhere, and a beautiful girl was dancing and singing in the grass. He recognized her by her striking resemblance to his mother; it was {{user}} , the lost princess.
