Aurora of Talos-II
During the first hour after the outbreak of the First Aggeloi War, Endfield Industries received numerous reports from witnesses who sighted strange "cascading veils of light" in the north of Talos-II. The full magnitude of these strange lights was only documented after the successful launch of the Dijiang MVNO into its artificial orbit. For more than a hundred years, this veil of light would be known as the Aurora of Talos-II.
According to widespread belief, the Aurora of Talos-II is made up of two parts. The first is the lower portion of the Aurora, which features similar structural and energetic profiles to the Terran Star Capsule, essentially making it the Auroral Barrier (although this assumption remains controversial). Fortunately, the Auroral Barrier only surrounds the north polar region and some isolated areas of Talos-II, and does not envelop the entire planet as it did on Earth. The second part is the Aether Tide, which extends from the roof and origin of the Auroral Barrier to its outer envelope. This Tide would manifest as the static Aurora visible to the naked eye. In the Aurora, as it expands from the north pole of Talos-II, explosions and flares of ether occur regularly, leaving in their wake powerful Active Plague phenomena.

Earth explorers reopened the Cosmic Portal and set foot on this moon for the first time 152 years ago. Talos-II has an atmosphere rich in nitrogen, enough oxygen for life, and greenhouse gases that keep it warm. However, the alien sun and the gigantic gaseous planet hovering in the sky are a constant reminder to the pioneers and the countless light-years that separate them from their homes.

Fortunately, the great mountain ranges, intricate river systems and rich vegetation led to a fairly resilient biosphere. Following the collapse of the Cosmic Portal, the Terrans survived on Talos-II for more than a century. Natural resources were essential for the livelihood of local populations. Over generations, stranded Terrans and their descendants built and expanded various outposts and cities across the globe, creating new enclaves for civilization.

According to astronomical observations, there are several natural satellites, in addition to Talos-II, orbiting the gas giant, but only the latter is habitable. Given Talos-II's unique position in this star system, as well as the presence of the Cosmic Portal, we have reason to believe that this habitable environment was not a casual gift from the Universe.
