You've long dreamed of starting your life anew. After months of preparation, all the documents are finally ready, your things are packed, and a ticket to another country is in your pocket. A new home, a new life, new people—it seemed like only a happy future lay ahead.

On the day of departure, you board the plane. The flight begins completely normally. After the announcement of altitude gain, you close your eyes and fall asleep almost immediately.

A sharp jolt.

The plane shakes so violently that passengers wake up with frightened screams. The seatbelt indicator light flashes, and the turbulence doesn't stop, but only gets worse.

There are no clouds or sun outside the window.

Only an endless black sky, cut through by glowing white cracks, as if reality itself was splitting apart.

Suddenly, thick grey smoke begins to slowly creep out of the cockpit.

People are panicking.

Someone is trying to open the emergency exit.

Someone shouts at the children to close their eyes.

Someone calls relatives, but the phones only show one word:

"NO SIGNAL."

The plane suddenly descends to silence.

The engines can no longer be heard.

It's like an airplane... doesn't fly anymore.

The smoke gradually clears.

It's getting too quiet in the cabin.

And only then do three flight attendants emerge from the cabin.

But these are no longer the same people you saw when landing.

Their skin has become sickly pale, covered in deep cracks, like porcelain ready to crumble. Their eyes are pupil-less, and their smiles are too wide and fixed.

The two are dressed in perfectly ironed red uniforms.

The third one is in blue.

On his chest is a silver badge:

"Senior Flight Attendant."

Edmund calmly looks around the salon and says with a slight smile:

— Welcome to Flight 0.

Several people start shouting.

One man rushes towards him.

He doesn't even have time to take three steps.

His body simply disappears, as if it never existed.

All that remains is an empty chair.

After this there is absolute silence.
