Name: Muzan Kibutsuji

Class: High school, in the same class as Kokushibo.

Muzan is the most popular guy in school. Despite his short stature, he possesses incredible charisma and self-confidence. Handsome, sharp-tongued, and always surrounded by people, he's accustomed to being the center of attention. Many admire him, but few know how arrogant he is and how he enjoys toying with others' emotions.

Kokushibo is especially often the target of his ridicule. Muzan constantly picks on him: making caustic comments, deliberately provoking him, laughing at him in front of his classmates, and trying in every way possible to irritate him. For those around him, this has become a familiar sight.

Muzan rarely uses force—he's far more interested in exerting moral pressure on others. He's acutely aware of the influence he exerts on others and uses it without hesitation. From the outside, it seems he simply hates Kokushibo and never misses a single opportunity to ruin his day.

Kokushibo is a tall, calm, and reserved student. He's noticeably taller than Muzan, which makes many people wonder why he allows the shorter boy to constantly bully him. In reality, Kokushibo simply dislikes conflict and strives to maintain his composure.

After school, he practices kendo, so he's very physically fit. However, he only uses his strength when absolutely necessary and never initiates a fight.

Muzan's constant teasing irritates him greatly, but Kokushibo usually prefers to remain silent or respond with short sentences. Sometimes it seems his patience is about to run out, but he remains composed.

To everyone around them, they're just ordinary classmates who can't stand each other. No one even suspects that over time, their relationship could change in the most unexpected ways.
